Our Margarita Mixes

mixesDid you know that the Margarita is the most popular cocktail in North America? We have taken great care in planning and developing the flavor profiles for our Margarita Mixes. We currently have two Fresh Margarita Mix products and we are in the process of developing the first all-natural, shelf stable, pre-mix Margarita for retailers. Margaritas aren't just for summer anymore.

Margarita Sensations Premium Organic Margarita Mix

After hosting many Focus Groups, Tasting's, Receptions and Social Events, we have developed what we believe is the absolute "BEST" Margarita Mix available anywhere!

What makes our mix so special?

First off our Margarita Mix is fresh. Second, we only use Organic Lime Juice, Filtered Water and our own 100% Weber Blue Agave Nectar. There are no Artificial Colors or Flavors whatsoever. This is a Premium all Natural, Fresh, Organic Margarita Mix with a balanced flavor profile that is silky smooth from start to finish. It contains only 100 Calories per serving.

When paired with Tierras Certified Organic Tequila (Our personal favorite Tequila) you have a 100%, Certified, Organic Margarita that will be the best Margarita you have ever enjoyed. And, a combination of our Margarita Mix and 3 Amigos Blanco Tequila is only 181 Calories combined! Not only that, but this combination also gives you a Margarita that is low on the Clycemic scale and is also Diabetic friendly.

What about Triple Sec?

Due to the natural complexity of the Weber Blue Agave Plant and the Nectar that is secreted within the "Piña" of the plant, we believe there is no need to add Triple Sec or any other Liquor. Why add sugar when you don't have to? This is a stand alone Margarita Mix that is second to none!

Is your mix really that good?

Yes, it really is that good. We are passionate and we are dedicated to our craft. We will not ever intentionally misrepresent our Company or our Standards. We understand that everyone has a different palate and that when it comes to Food and Beverages, it is impossible for everyone to like the same thing. We also know that once you have tasted ours you will definitely understand what we mean when we say "Taste the difference that quality makes!"

Margarita Sensations Original Margarita Mix

mixesOur Original Margarita Mix is still a classic. We use what we believe is a perfect blend of Fresh Lime and Lemon Juice, Filtered Water and we use a blend of both Sugar and our own Agave Nectar. The result is a taste sensation that is pleases the palate as well as leaving your taste buds tingling for more.

What makes our mix so special?

Our Original Margarita Mix is still made with quality fresh and natural ingredients. It is very light and never has those too tart or sickeningly sweet aftertastes that you get with most mixes and powders. It is a fresh, non-pasteurized Margarita Mix that is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. And, like our Organic Margarita Mix, there are still only 100 Calories per serving!

What else can I use it for?

You can eliminate the need for having a separate Margarita Mix and Sweet and Sour Mix. You can replace your usual Sweet and Sour with Margarita Sensations Original Margarita Mix and your guests/customers will definitely "taste the difference quality makes" right away!

Do I need Triple Sec for this Mix?

We do not use Triple Sec at all with any of our Mixes. You do not need it. All it does is add Sugar and too many Sugars are what give you the Headache in the morning. Contrary to what most people think, if you use a quality 100% Blue Agave Tequila, you will not have a hangover ever again.

Is it good just by itself?

Yes it is. Drink it as you would a limeade. Everyone just about has heard of an Arnold Palmer Drink. You know, the drink that is 1/2 Lemonade and 1/2 Iced Tea? Well, we kind of like drinking Lee Trevino's. A Lee Trevino is another non-alcoholic drink, that is 1/2 Margarita Sensations Original Margarita Mix and 1/2 Iced Tea. And for kids, add any of their favorite fruit juice to the mix for an extra treat.

How the Margarita Came to Be

A little salt around the rim, a touch of citrus and sweetness, and a big tequila bite -- how can something so simple taste so good? Thanks in part to Jimmy Buffet's famous "Margaritaville" Margaritas are not just a summertime treat any longer.  The Margarita is the most popular cocktail in North America, evoking festive visions of Mexico in each and every sip. But the history behind this south of the border favorite is shrouded in mystery.

The origin of the cocktail is actually unknown. Although there are several versions, no one has been able to pinpoint which one is true. But they all make for good conversation over a round or two of this classic cocktail!

One version surrounding the birth of the Margarita is about a Dallas socialite, named -- you guessed it -- Margarita Sames, whose favorite party game was to duck behind the bar and mix up all kinds of drinks for her guests with whatever was available. During a 1948 Christmas party at her vacation home in Acapulco, Mexico she threw together tequila, Cointreau and lime juice with great success. Her friends were so enraptured with Margarita's concotion that they took it back with them to the states where it has gained in popularity annually.

Perhaps the most popular story behind the invention of the margarita involves a showgirl named Marjorie King, who was allergic to all alcohol except tequila -- poor dear. In 1938, King was visiting the Rancho Del Gloria Bar in Rosarita Beach, Mexico, when she asked one of the bartenders to mix her a cocktail with tequila. The bartender, a gentleman by the name of Danny Herrera, poured tequila over shaved ice then added lemon and triple sec. He translated Majorie's name to its Spanish equivalent, Margarita.

The third most commonly told tale comes from Tommy's Place in Juarez, Mexico. Pancho Morales was working the bar in 1942 when a woman came up to him and ordered a drink called a Magnolia. Morales could not remember what was in a Magnolia, except Cointreau. So, he decided to fake it. After mixing Cointreau with tequila, he named the new concoction after another flower, the daisy. Bet you a margarita that you can guess what "daisy" is in Spanish.

There are other bars that claim to be the origin of the margarita, with other tales to tell. Whatever the real story, it's hard to beat a classic margarita that is made with 100% Blue Agave Tequila!

And, like its history, the cocktail itself has a number of versions. Go to any Mexican restaurant worth the salt on the rim of your glass and you will probably be inundated with decisions when you order a margarita: Regular, "Cadillac", "Top Shelf", "Frozen", "On The Rocks" and of course Salt or no salt?  One thing is certain however; the only right way to enjoy a Margarita is the way that you like it the Best!
